Materials

LEATHER
My shoes and boots are made from 4.5-5.0 oz top grain split cowhide. Most leathers I use have a smooth matte finish and some show a light grain.

MIDSOLE

The midsole leather is high quality vegetable tanned 9oz cowhide. Very durable and allows for repeated resoling.

SOLES

The sole material is all made by Vibram and most have crepe and rubber combined to give a comfortable shock absorbing quality to your step. Most soles come in black, brown or tan.

Any sole is available for any style.

RESOLING

All footwear can be resoled by Sara’s Shoes or any good shoe repair shop. A different sole can be chosen or the same one replaced. Resoling is recommended before the midsole layer is exposed.

INSOLES

I recommend an insole in my shoes and boots. I offer 3 choices: a flat insole pad that I cut to fit, a pre-made insole pad with arch that I cut to fit, or using your own orthotics inside your new footwear.
All choices allow for easy replacement.
